Enjoy a summer adventure and become a nature detective. Enter the wierd and wacky world of small critters. Play games, sing songs, and make a craft as we explore bugs and beasties. Fee includes materials and snack.

459119 - Outdoor Adventure Camp

This camp is designed for young adventurers that want to learn basic skills to successfully enjoy the outdoors. Our Park Rangers will teach fire making, shelter options, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, tubing and more! Learn these useful skills in a fun and engaging environment.

639127 - Nature Detectives

Exploring. Searching. Investigating. Come be a nature detective and learn more about the bugs and birds all around us by using your 5 senses and detective skills to solve a mystery. Children will use nets and magnifying glasses that they get to take home when camp is over.

649134 - EdVenture Camp

EdVenture is coming to the parks! Campers will dive into science, technology, engineering, and mathematics throughout the week, becoming familiar with topics such as aeronautics, soldering, electricity, and magnetism while learning engineering practices. Expect a lot of collaboration, inventiveness, and creativity! All campers will receive a pass to the museum so they can continue to enjoy the spirit of EdVenture on site.

Full Day Engineering for Kids of the Midlands Combo Camp. Supervised lunch included (lunch not provided).

Engineer Investigators: Become a forensics engineer and help Kelvin find out who stole the blueprints for his secret, new design.
Using principles of investigative science and forensic engineering, students will analyze evidence in the simulated crime scene using math, science, and technology. Embark on a new journey each day to decipher cryptic clues and biological codes, and help us identify the thief through chemical and mechanical analysis. Time is running out, and Kelvin needs your help!

Rescue Robotics: Using LEGO® Robotics, computers and teamwork, campers design and program robots to respond to simulated disaster situations such as moving rubble and retrieving targets.

649143 - Survivor: Engineer's Cove

Students in this camp will find themselves stranded on an abandoned island
filled with perilous obstacles–dark caves, wild animals, cold temperatures, little food, and separation from the comforts of home. They will work collaboratively with their tribe members to compete against other tribes in specific engineering-related projects aimed at trying to survive the harsh island conditions and escape to their freedom. The tribe with the most points at the end of the week will claim the honor of Survivor: Engineer’s Cove winner. Camp instructed by Engineering for Kids of The Midlands.
