639400 - Baby Camp!

Babies and parents/caregivers can join us for some fun summer camp action! Crawlers through Walkers can participate with an adult. Each week will be a fun-filled themed adventure. Babies will enjoy socialization, fine and gross motor skills, sensory play, and of course singing and playing! Kathy Asselin a nurse and Certified Developmental Specialist will lead each week of camp.

639401 - Toddler Camp

Toddler and parents/caregivers who have out-grown Baby Camp can join us for some fun summer camp action toddler style! Toddlers will enjoy socialization, working on fine and gross motor skills, sensory activities, language skills, and of course lots of singing and playing! Kathy Asselin a nurse and Certified Developmental Specialist will lead camp.

639600 - Fishing Camp

Camp will meet the first day at Crooked Creek Park in Chapin. The remainder of the week, campers will meet at the assigned fishing spot on Lake Murray. Campers should bring a waterbottle and snack each day. A fishing rod is included in the cost of camp. Moderate swimming abilities or floatation device preferred. No electronics; and please remember sunblock, a hat, and sunglasses.

639605 - Sailing Camp

This camp is designed for students serious about learning how to sail. A US Sailing Association Certified Instructor will teach the camp. The overriding theme of the program is safety, learning and fun. Basic swimming skills are required. During bad weather, skills and activities will be taught indoors. This camp is held at Lake Murray Sailing Club. Camps must bring a Type II PFD, closed-toed shoes that can get wet, clothing designed for water activity, sunblock, a hat, and a lunch/snacks daily.

Get FUNky this summer with KidFit Hip-Hop! Set to clean music and with age-appropriate choreography, Kid-Fit "Funk Crew" members will learn the newest styles of dance and have a blast in the process! Come "move and groove" with us.

639680 - Field Day Camp

Participants will learn about soil, water, solar energy, and animals through hands-on investigations. All participants will gain insight into the natural world and how humans can impact and protect the environment. Campers will gain a greater appreciation for the natural world. They will learn about key issues affecting our environment and ways to promote conservation to protect it. Participants will learn about soil, water, and air and create solutions to prevent pollution; alternative energy sources and create a solar oven; and learn about local ecosystems and food chains through hands on investigations.

639690 - Itty Bitty Gymnastics Camp

Bring your little one to get a taste of gymnastics: tumbling, beam, bars, trampoline, and more. This is a great way to get your toddler moving and rolling in the safest way. Parents do not have to stay each day, but are welcome to join in the fun. Our goal is for all of our students to gain confidence, increase their physical activity, and expand their social skills. Each student will discover the fun of exercising that will set the groundwork for a lifetime of healthy fitness activity.

Campers are introduced to non-traditional sports including Frisbee, hockey, volleyball, bowling, kickball, badminton and more. Experience a taste of these fun and exciting activities. Bring a snack each day and a water bottle or sports drink. Awards will be given on last day of camp.

Campers learn rings, bars, tumbling, juggling, balance, trampoline, stilt walking and more circus fun. Dress in a favorite costume every day. Camp includes themed crafts and a performance with awards the last day of camp. Bring a snack each day.

Campers will get a taste of all our Kid Fit camps! We will take the best activities from each of our camps and combine them into one session. Every day will be different and fun! This is a great way to end your summer. Bring a snack, a water bottle, and wear gym shoes.

We are coaching our campers to find their place, uniqueness, passion, personal talent and ones true giftedness. This camp utilizes team building activities, compassion, communication and character. The campers will also be developing common goals, designing projects, break-out sessions and learn how to follow ones own passion through games, group sports and confidence building skills. Bring snack daily.

This NEW camp will challenge your child's mind and body. Physical and mental challenges while working on team building/partner skills. Scavenger hunts, puzzles, sports, and adventure all over Crooked Creek Park. Bring a water bottle, a snack, and wear sneakers! This camp is only for kids ages 9-12

This challenging camp will give each camper a unique & fun skilled atmosphere that includes tennis, badminton and volleyball net sports (includes football & soccer kicks). Each camper will learn hitting, serving and net play in a rewarding and challenging beginner to advanced game play. This camp is indoor and outdoor with lots of character building, positive attitudes and respect for net sports. Social skills will be taught through team, partner and group games. We provide balls, nets, racquets and team spirit. Bring snack daily.

This camp has rewarding and challenging obstacle courses, tunnels, & survivor skills. Ninja wall, air ball, fit wheel space walk and lots of sports skills with group and individual races in a fun-filled friendly environment. Wear your favorite sports/ninja gear to camp.

639905 - Jason Jolley Softball Camp

All campers will learn the fundamentals of softball, including throwing, hitting, and fielding. All aspects of the game will be covered. Each camper will receive instruction aimed at developing an understanding of the game of softball. Each camper will be given the opportunity to practice and to participate in game situations. Camp meets at Chapin Elementary School field 3.

Camp is designed for beginner to intermediate golfers! Clubs are not required. THIS CAMP WILL MEET AT GEORGE BRYAN GOLF ACADEMY AT 1080 MT. VERNON CHURCH ROAD.

639917 - CCP Boys Basketball Camp

The camp will emphasize fundamentals of offensive and defensive skills and will give them drills to improve both. We will have contests and will play games during the week. We will discuss basketball topics such sportsmanship, work ethic, weight training, and off-season programs and opportunities. Camp meets at CCP.

649119 - Hoopcity Basketball Camp

This camp offers an opportunity for all athletes, regardless of age or ability level, to participate in an exciting week of basketball training and game participation.
To maximize learning, all campers are evaluated and placed within groups of similar ability, regardless of age. Throughout the camp week, campers may transition to another group level, should their talent dictate.
PLEASE NOTE: This camp is structured for athletes on all levels - beginners through advanced -working to improve dribbling, passing, shooting and other basketball skills.

Campers will learn basic fishing skills and techniques. A rod and reel are provided. Campers will meet at Seven Oaks Park on Monday and will receive the schedule and locations (such as the Lake Murray Dam) for the remainder of the week at that time. Flotation devices are recommended (not provided). Transportation to camp locations in not provided by ICRC.

All students will learn nunchakus or bo staff, Jiu-Jitsu and how to diffuse an escalating situation. Fun activities are offered each day. Students will win award certificates and prizes. All students earn their first belt and 10 stripes. Everyone will fly the drone, break a board, and learn 9 essential basics of traditional karate.

This challenging camp will give each camper a unique & fun skilled atmosphere that includes tennis, badminton and volleyball net sports (includes football & soccer kicks). This camp will be held at Seven Oaks Park Monday - Wednesday and at Bush River Raceway on Thursday. Explore the World of Radio Control!! Learn how to build, test and race a real RC car!
Race the car at a real RC Racetrack! Learn about and watch RC Airplanes fly!
Four action packed and fulfilling afternoons hands on with real RCs! Three days working on, testing and learning with real RC cars at Seven Oaks Park, and watch a demonstration of real RC planes fly. On the final day will go to Bush River RC Raceway for a full Race Day Event with the cars that were built, tested and learned about!!

This camp is instructed by Irmo High School Baseball Coach Bruce White. Campers will learn fundamentals and strategies of baseball. Please bring your baseball equipment and a water bottle.

649907 - Irmo Soccer Camp

Kids will learn the game of soccer including passing, dribbling, shooting, positioning, and strategies. Participants will need to wear cleats and shinguards each day but bring tennis shoes in case the weather is bad and camp is held in the gym. Each participant should bring their own water bottle and ball each day. Fee includes t-shirt.

649908 - Volleyball Camp

We are happy to have Coach Sue Dillon returning for her third summer of volleyball camps with us. Coach Dillon is he Director of Lake Murray Volleyball Club, coaches the 18 National and 13 National LMVC teams and also serves as the sponsorship chair for Columbia Volleyball Club. She has over 20 years of coaching experience at both the high school and club level. She will offer two camps at each level.

Here is a brief description of each:

BASIC: This camp is meant for players that are just starting out or who have minimal playing experience.
INTERMEIDATE: This camp is meant for players that have played for a couple of years and have some game-like experience. You must be able to serve OVERHAND from behind the service line to be eligible to participate in this camp.
ADVANCED: This camp is meant for the seasoned player that is looking to gain more experience with the strategies of the game both offensive and defensive as well as improve their already advanced skills.

• Oztag is a non-contact sport that is based on the rules of Flag Football and Touch Rugby that has no tackling, no scrums and no lineouts. The aim is to grab the ‘TAG’ from the side of your opponents shorts to stop them from scoring a touchdown. Strict rules regulate the game in regards to contact so you can be assured safety is one of Oztag’s priorities.
• The kids will develop their passing technique, running lines, kicking and understanding of attack + defence through game-play. The games are fast-paced and FUN, and they build the kids’ technical and tactical understanding of Oztag. At the end of every session, the kids play an OzTag match, so they have the opportunity to use and test their newly acquired technical and tactical skills. Soccer cleats are recommended + Oztag shorts are provided.
